With pre-punched holes in all four corners, they’re ready for quick attachment using safety pins (not included). Each racekit consists of a set of 100 bibs with sequential numbers, designed for use on the racecourse, and provides space for adding timing chips, sponsor logos, or handwritten names. FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You can use a paperclip as a temporary substitute for a safety pin in a pinch, but it’s not ideal. Paperclips aren’t designed to hold fabric securely and can easily bend, slip, or come undone. For better safety and durability, especially during movement, a proper safety pin is a better choice.

Yes, safety pins can set off metal detectors, especially if they’re made of steel or worn in large numbers. Smaller pins might not trigger an alarm, but it depends on the detector’s sensitivity. If you’re attending an event with strict security, it’s best to check the rules or consider plastic alternatives.

If you don’t have a safety pin, you can use a paper clip, bobby pin, sewing pin, or even a staple as a temporary fix, although none are as secure. For fabric, a binder clip or double-sided tape can also work in a pinch. These are short-term solutions and may not provide as reliable a hold as a proper safety pin.

If you don’t have safety pins or prefer not to use them, consider using bib magnets, race bib clips, double-sided fabric tape, or adhesive bib holders instead. While these alternatives are convenient and won’t damage your clothing, they usually aren’t as secure as safety pins.

No, basting pins and safety pins are not the same. Basting pins are long, straight pins used temporarily to hold fabric pieces together while sewing and don’t have a clasp. Safety pins, on the other hand, have a clasp mechanism that locks the sharp point, making them safer and more secure for fastening fabric or other items.

Double-sided fabric tape is a sticky tape you can use to attach your race bib without poking holes in your clothes. It’s easy to use and works well for short-term use, but it may not be as strong or secure as other options.
